At Community Christian School, we value the hard work and discipline it takes to produce excellent teams both on and off the field. CCS is a member of the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association. All athletes are required to receive an annual physical.

CCS Athletic Handbook
CCS offers the following sports for our Junior High and High School athletes:
Fall - football, cross country, girls volleyball, and fastpitch softball
October-February - Archery (7th-12th)
Winter - girls and boys basketball, boys wrestling
Spring - baseball, track and field, boys and girls golf, soccer
Year Round - girls cheerleading
7th-8th Grade Information:
Seventh graders will be allowed to play all Middle School Sports with 8th graders. Middle School (7th-8th grade) sports practices will be held during 7th hour. Transportation will be provided to the Activity Center for athletes to begin 7th hour. 7th and 8th grade students who participate in ANY sport will need to be picked up at the Activity Center immediately after the practice is finished. Each sport may vary in their practice times. Please contact the coach for specific information
9th-12th Grade Information:
High School students (9th-12th) who participate in sports will practice after school. Transportation to the Activity Center will be provided for these students after school. Parents will need to pick up students from the Activity Center after practice is finished. Each sport may vary in their practice times. Please contact the coach for specific information.
Sports Dress Code:
Practice shirts/shorts will be available to order at August Registration Day. Girls need to wear long basketball shorts (5" inseam). More information can be obtained from coaches.
An annual physical is required for all athletes in order for them to practice or play a sport. It is highly recommended that physicals are taken at the school for $10 to ensure paperwork stays with the Athletic Department. Middle School Cheerleaders who want to play another sport will need to have an additional physical, as well.

All home athletic events are held at the CCS Activity Center and Football Field, 5300 N. Interstate Drive, Norman, Oklahoma. This complex is located two miles north of the main campus on the west side of I-35 between Indian Hills and Tecumseh.
